Given that we always want to look as youthful and fresh as we can (without pulling out the big cosmetic enhancement guns!) our attention was caught by Australian skincare brand Dr. Roebuck’s holistic approach to anti-aging. The brand is not just about choosing the right skincare products and routine, they have some sage advice when it comes to what we put in our bodies.
While it’s definitely not the first time we’ve explored the link between inner and outer beauty, we just loved this practical approach that helps you choose the right foods and supplements that are rich in nutrients, vitamins and minerals your body needs to repair and renew.
Your Diet Plan For Anti-Aging and Increased Elasticity
Core Ingredients:
Fish
Lean Protein (like chicken breast)
Beetroot
Grapefruit
Acai
Vitamin E
Goji Berries
Water (you need to drink a minimum of two litres a day)
Avoid:
Dairy
Caffeine
Alcohol
Wheat

Breakfast:
2 glasses of water
1 glass of hot water with lemon slice
1 bowl wheat-free muesli with rice/soy milk. Add flaxseed oil, nuts and seeds or whey powder, and honey to taste
OR
1/2 grapefruit, with 1/2 cup of cut fruit and yoghurt
Morning Snack:
1 glass fresh beetroot, carrot and ginger juice
OR
2 cups of ginseng tea
Lunch:
White meat, lean red meat or pork with avocado on rye
OR
Salad using lettuce, fetta, nuts, sunflower seeds and tofu (boiled eggs can also be added for protein)
Afternoon Snack:
Grapefruit juice or lemon and hot water
3 glasses of water
1 handful of nuts or dried fruit
Dinner:
3 glasses of water
2 cups of green vegetables (like asparagus, broccoli and spinach) with chicken, fish or pork
Pre-Dinner:
Detox or camomile tea
